Anxiety is the worst. Hand down 👎. Of all the conditions I have struggled with in my life, anxiety is by far the worst.

And if you are struggling with anxiety, I know you know what I mean.

😓 Every decision feels 10x harder.

😮‍💨 You feel you cannot catch your breath.

😨 Your mind is racing 1M thoughts per minute .

It controls how you show up for your children, your job, and your loved ones.

And medication either doesn’t help or makes you numb to your entire existence.

It’s the F*cking worst. But it doesn’t have to be this way!

After anxiety controlling nearly 17 years of my life. I can tell you now that I live 100% anxiety medication-free and in control of it.

Of course, I still have panic attacks from time to time, but I know HOW to support it. And I want to share this power with you today. Because this ultimate freedom.

Chronic anxiety is a hormone imbalance issue. Until you address the root cause, it will continue to control your life.

First off, let me start off by saying that anxiety medication is NOT the enemy. Medication is designed to help you feel your best. The problem is that it is a band-aid solution.

Anxiety is heavily influenced by hormone balance, gut health, and nutrient deficiencies. So if you are not addressing the root cause, you might still struggle with symptoms while on medication.

The goal is to get you feeling your best so it does not control your life!

Addressing Gut Health is Priority #1

95% of your body’s serotonin is made within the gut biome. Low serotonin results in an increased risk of anxiety, panic attacks, and depression. So healing your gut is priority number one!

But many people think that just taking probiotics is enough…and well…it’s not.

Taking probiotics is not enough to heal your gut.

Probiotics are essential, don’t get me wrong, but if you have inflammation in the gut lining this can lead to nutrient loss and allow bad bacteria to enter.

Meaning that you are taking a probiotic and your gut is still inflamed, this strategy does not go far. You need to focus on reducing chronic inflammation in the entire body and the foods triggering chronic inflammation to rebuild the gut lining.

Often foods that are “healthy” or that you eat on a regular basis cause inflammation as a result of mistaken identity in the body. This is known as “inflammatory for you” foods. Those foods cause the most damage.

Once you start healing your gut, then you can move on to the big one…

You must break the anxiety addiction cycle.

The craziest concept to grasp is you can become addicted to having anxiety and cortisol to get your dopamine hit. Dopamine is your happy hormone so the literal act of anxiety and surviving the stress can give you that dopamine hit so you feel happy.

Then you crash and crave it again. Learning to break this cycle is two-fold.

To do this you need to both eat in a way that promotes natural dopamine production and strategically utilizes movement to boost and kickstart its production.

Under-eating is the number 1 cause of chronic stress. A cycle-synced reverse diet can widely improve dopamine levels. When cortisol is high, dopamine is low and progesterone is low.

So this means you will have more stress, cortisol, and anxiety.

Making sure you eat enough is critical to this process and when you use nutrition to heal metabolic functions, align with your hormonal strength, and optimize them, eating becomes a powerful tool for your success.

The final piece of this puzzle is using movement to kick-start dopamine production and break stress addiction.

Exercise is the ultimate serotonin and dopamine hit.

Strength training 🏋️‍♀️ and cardio 🏃‍♀️ both stimulate crazy amounts of serotonin and dopamine. Even better, the act of completing a workout retrains your brain’s reward and gives you a dopamine high while improving your available dopamine receptors.

Meaning that you will not only have more dopamine but be able to utilize and respond to it. Making the stress addiction a thing of the past.

But exercise is still a stressor, even if it’s positive. So to keep cortisol in balance, you need to match your intensity with your hormone phases.

Mastering this gave me my freedom back. It allowed me to:

have the confidence to start a business

to date again and meet my husband

to come off anxiety medication and feel connected again

It changed my life and you deserve this too!
