I have been working with Tasha (and Curtis) for the last two months. I initially started this program as a way to reset, but more importantly understand the importance of food as fuel. Talking to Tasha prior to interacting with the program I was a bit nervous that I would have to jump into eating a surplus amount of calories, or be completely restricted and that is the complete opposite of what happened. My initial mal plan, grocery list, and lifts were very do-able. Most of the things we foods and exercises I already consumed, but she guided me on when to eat, how much to eat, and also the reality that food is not this intimidation thing…it’s fuel. Going into my third month with them I am quite emotional. For the first time in years I don’t feel like I have to go run a mile after eating a girl scout cookie. I am hungry throughout the day and have increased my caloric intake from a little over 1000 to 1800 calories, and I am seeing results. I have more energy, I don’t even feel my periods when they are coming on, and I finally feel like I am capable of living a balanced lifestyle. It’s super cliché to say that this program is changing my life, but honestly the education, empowerment and growth I feel is life changing.
